How to Add & Deposit with Google Pay

If you use Binance.US on our mobile app for Android, you can add Google Pay (funded by a debit card) to deposit USD directly into your Binance.US account, to purchase crypto via the Buy, Sell, & Convert feature, and even to make recurring purchases.

Please note, we currently only support Google Pay accounts funded by a Debit Card.

This quick guide will show you how to add Google Pay to your account, how to use Google Pay to make a deposit, how to make a Google Pay payment using 'Buy Crypto,' plus answer any additional questions you may have.

Adding Google Pay on Android

1. On the bottom-right corner of your screen, tap Wallet

2. Select Deposit, then US Dollar

3. From the deposit entry screen, tap Select Payment Method

4. Tap Add Payment Method

5. Select Google Pay from the menu.

Follow the prompts to sign in with your Google Pay credentials. If you have not added Google Pay to your device you will be prompted to do so. Once Google Pay is connected to your Binance.US account, you are ready to begin using it to make USD deposits.

*Please note: We only accept Google Pay accounts using Debit Cards at this time.

Depositing with Google Pay on Android

Important: Deposits can only be withdrawn in USD or Crypto after 7 days for Google Pay.

1. If you're continuing on after having just added Google Pay you can skip to the next step. If you have left the Payment method screen you can reaccess it by tapping Wallet (at the bottom of your screen) > US Dollar > Deposit USD

2. Select Google Pay under 'Payment Methods.' Enter the amount of USD you would like to deposit, then tap Preview Deposit

Important: There is a 3.75% fee applied to the deposit amount when using Google Pay.

3. Confirm the deposit information displayed is correct, then tap Pay with G (Google) Pay

Making 'Buy Crypto' Purchases with Google Pay on Android

1. Tap the yellow 'Buy Crypto' button (showing two arrows) in the middle of the bottom navigation bar.

2. Select Buy Crypto.

3. Choose the asset you would like to purchase.

4. Enter the USD amount you want to buy.

5. Tap the currently listed payment method (if it is not Google Pay).

6. A) If you've already added Google Pay to your account, tap to select it as the payment method. Then, tap Preview Purchase, and after confirming the details, tap Confirm Buy to complete your purchase with Google Pay. You can skip the remaining steps below.

6. B) If you have not added Google Pay yet, tap Add a payment method and select Google Pay. If Google Pay is already set up on your Android device it will automatically link your account. If not, you will be prompted to set up Google Pay (outside of Binance.US) on your Android device.

7. Once you've returned to the 'Buy Crypto' screen, you will see Google Pay listed as your payment method. Tap Preview Purchase, and after confirming the details, tap Confirm Buy to complete your purchase.

Google Pay on Binance.US FAQs

1. Can I use Google Pay on the web version of Binance.US?

You can currently only use Google Pay on the Android version of the mobile app. However, we do plan on supporting Google Pay on the web (browser) version of Binance.US soon as well.

2. How do I set up Google Pay on my Android device before I add it to Binance.US?

Setting up Google Pay on your Android device is easy. Just:

Download the Google Pay app from Google Play store
Select your Google Account, then follow the instructions and add a payment method (Binance.US only supports debit funded Google Pay accounts).

3. What are the fees associated with using Google Pay?

There is a flat fee of 3.75% associated with using Google Pay on Binance.US.

4. Can I use Google Pay in any state supported by Binance.US?

Google Pay on Binance.US is currently only open to the following states:
AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, DE, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NH, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, UT, VA, WA, WI, NJ, NE, RI, TN, NJ, WV, WY, ID.
