Our basic verification process is in place to verify your basic information and identity. We require some personal identifier information to ensure security and eliminate any potential threats. However, you may run into some common issues while attempting your basic verification. Below is a troubleshooting guide that may help with some of the issues.
Double check Address/Information: Please double check all information and fields before resubmitting your basic verification. If your name, address, date of birth, or any piece of information is off, our system will reject automatically.
Address showing “23”: Occasionally, a visual error may show your street address as ’23’. Our engineering team has been alerted of the issue and are working to resolve this as quickly as possible. The address you submitted before receiving the error is the address associated with the verification process. If your verification is still pending review, our team is working on completing it as soon as possible and will reach out if anything further is needed from your end.
Possible Duplicate Account: Another reason for basic verification rejection is due to our system already having your information submitted through another account. For security reasons, Binance.Us only allows a single account per user. If you do have another account already registered, please try logging in and completing the verification on the first account.
Not Enough History: If you see the error “Not Enough History Under Address’, you will need to submit a ticket with our Customer Service Team. Generally speaking, this error comes up if there isn’t enough history or activities in relation to the user at the address - Such as if you just moved or don’t have utility bills to that address. State Greyed Out: If you are signing up and are running into your state being greyed out, it means that we currently do not support your state. We are looking to get approved for all 50 States, and are currently working hard to make sure that’s a possibility.
