If you are looking to change either your Google or SMS Two-Factor Authenticator (2FA) to a new device or Google Authenticator account, we will first need to disable your current 2FA Method. This guide is for users who are able to access their current 2FA Method.
How to Disable Your 2FA Method
1. Visit the Binance.US Homepage.
2. Click the "Log In" button located in the upper right-hand corner.
3. Enter the Email Address and Password associated to your account. Then click "Log In."
4. Navigate to the "Security" tab.
5. Click the "Disable" button next to the Two-Factor Authentication Method you wish to change.
6. You will be prompted to re-enter your password, as well as an Authentication Code from your current 2FA Authenticator.
7. Click "Submit."
How to Reconnect Your 2FA Method
1. Visit the Binance.US Homepage.
2. Click the "Log In" button located in the upper right-hand corner.
3. Enter the Email Address and Password associated to your account. Then click "Log In."
4. Navigate to the "Security" tab.
5. Click the "On" button next to the Two-Factor Authentication Method you wish to enable.
6. For SMS 2FA Authentication:
- Enter your phone number and click "Send SMS." You should receive a text with your Authentication Code.
- Enter the code and click the bar that reads “Enabled SMS Authenticator.”
6. For Google 2FA Authentication:
- Download the App based on your device (Android/macOS). Then, click "Next."
- Open the Google Authenticator app and tap the "+" button. Choose "Scan QR Code." If you are unable to scan the QR Code, you may enter the code via the "Enter Set Up Key" option.
- Scan the QR Code code using your device’s camera. Then, click "Next."
- Ensure you save your backup key.
- Click "Next."
- Enter your Login Password as well as the Google Authentication Code from your device. Click "Submit."
7. Your Two-Factor Authentication Method is now updated!
Note: Withdrawals may be disabled for 24 hours after changing your 2FA Method.
