What is EigenLayer?
EigenLayer (EIGEN) brings "restaking" to Ethereum, increasing the utility of staked ETH, potentially strengthening security across the Ethereum ecosystem, and offering additional rewards for restakers. Here's how it works:
Restaking: Redeploy staked ETH across other services (Ex: AVSs) and potentially earn more rewards in the process.
AVSs (Actively Validated Services): AVSs include Ethereum-based protocols and applications that leverage restaked assets to enhance security and functionality across.
EIGEN Token: Stake EIGEN to help secure data availability services like EigenDA and participate in the EigenLayer governance.
