Binance.US will support the Fantom (FTM) token swap and rebranding to Sonic (S)

Binance.US will support the Fantom (FTM) token swap and perform the token migration on behalf of our customers. As part of this process, Fantom (FTM) tokens will be rebranded to Sonic (S) and issued at a ratio of 1 FTM to 1 S.

Important updates for FTM token holders

March 16, 2025 at 8 p.m. PST / 11 p.m. EST:

  • Buy & Sell, Convert, and OTC for FTM will be suspended.

March 17, 2025 at 8 p.m. PST / 11 p.m. EST:

  • Deposits & withdrawals for FTM will be permanently closed across all supported networks: Fantom, BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), and Ethereum (ERC20).

  • Deposits for FTM made or in progress after this time will NOT be credited to your account. You will lose any deposits made after March 17, 2025 at 8 p.m. PST / 11 p.m. EST.

  • Trading for FTM will be suspended and the FTM/USDT trading pair will be removed. All Advanced Trading orders will be automatically canceled once trading ceases on the FTM/USDT pair.

After the migration is completed:

  • Fantom (FTM) deposits & withdrawals, as well as Buy & Sell, Convert, Trading, and OTC will remain permanently closed.

  • We will update this announcement once Sonic (S) deposits & withdrawals, as well as Buy & Sell, Convert, Trading on the S/USD and S/USDT pairs, and OTC are opened. Please note details and timing are subject to change.

  • Please do NOT deposit Sonic (S) to Binance.US until deposits are officially opened and this announcement is updated. Deposits for Sonic (S) (not yet supported) will only be available on the Sonic network.

  • We will migrate all Fantom (FTM) at a ratio of 1 FTM to 1 S, handle all technical requirements, and issue S to FTM holders at the rate above.
