Binance.US will support the Polkadot (DOT) network migration from the Polkadot Relay Chain to Polkadot Asset Hub. As part of this process, DOT will be migrated to the new Polkadot Asset Hub network on a 1:1 basis.
The migration will take place at block number 28,490,502, which is estimated to occur on November 4, 2025 at approximately midnight PT / 3 a.m. ET. To prepare for the migration, Binance.US will suspend deposits, withdrawals, and staking for DOT one week prior, on October 30, 2025.
This article will be updated once the migration is complete and deposits, withdrawals, and staking for DOT reopen.
Important updates for DOT token holders
October 30, 2025 at 7 p.m. PDT / 10 p.m. EDT:
Deposits & withdrawals for DOT made via Polkadot Relay Chain will be permanently closed.
Deposits for DOT made or in progress via Polkadot Relay Chain after this time will NOT be credited to your account. You will lose any deposits made after October 30, 2025 at 7 p.m. PDT / 10 p.m. EDT.
Staking for DOT will be paused until the migration is complete. During this time, you will continue to earn rewards on your staked DOT, but you won't be able to stake or unstake.
Trading and other Binance.US services will remain available, and will NOT be affected by the network migration.
After the network migration is completed:
Deposits & withdrawals for DOT made via Polkadot Relay Chain will remain closed.
Deposits & withdrawals for DOT made via Polkadot Asset Hub will be opened at a later date (not yet supported). Please note details and timing are subject to change.
Please do NOT deposit DOT to Binance.US via Polkadot Asset Hub until deposits are officially opened.
We will migrate all DOT at a 1:1 ratio from Polkadot Relay Chain to Polkadot Asset Hub and handle all technical requirements.
