How to Manually Link a Bank (ACH) With Routing and Account Numbers

Th is article outlines the steps to manually link an ACH account with your Binance.US account

Updated over a week ago

This brief tutorial will show you how to link your bank account manually using your bank routing and account numbers. This is only necessary if your bank is not an option when linking your bank account via Plaid or if you encounter another issue.

If you are receiving an error regarding multi-factor authentication when connecting your account, please visit this article.

Note: The deposit verification process at the end of the manual routing process will take up to one business day to complete.

All billing information must match the name on your Binance.US account. Learn more about how to update your personal information.

Additionally, we currently do not allow savings or brokerage accounts to be connected as payment methods. If you are experiencing issues connecting your bank account, please ensure you are using a checking account to connect with Plaid.

How to Manually Link a Bank Account

1. Log in to your account via the mobile app on a web browser

2. Visit the payment methods page:

On Mobile: From the home page, tap Profile (located in the top right corner), then Add Payment Method

On the Web: Hover over your email address in the top right to view the dropdown menu. Then click Profile & Limits, Payment Methods, and finally Add Payment Method.

3. Select the Bank Transfer payment method.

4. A Plaid window will appear. Click Continue to proceed.

5. Scroll down to the bottom of the menu and click Link with account numbers.

6. Click Continue to begin the manual bank account linking process.

7. Enter your routing number and click Continue. If you do not know how to find your account routing number, you can select Get help finding your routing number.

8. Enter your account number and click Continue, then confirm your account number and click Continue (here you can also select Get help finding your account number if necessary).

9. Select whether your account is personal or for business, then click Continue.

10. Enter your full name and click Continue.

11. Select the account type and click Continue.

12. Click Authorize to authorize deposits and withdrawals to and from your account.

13. Complete the reCAPTCHA to confirm you're not a bot.

14. Within one business day, you will receive two small (under $0.99) deposits to your bank account. Please check your bank account and note the amounts received (you will need these for the next step).

15. Once you've received the two deposits, return to the payment method page (see steps 1-4) to finalize the ACH account connection process. After selecting ACH, you will be prompted to enter the deposit amounts and complete the process.
