This guide is for customers who wish to change or reset (disable) their Binance US account's two-factor authentication (2FA). Two-factor authentication can be reset for a variety of reasons, including loss of access, switching devices, getting a new phone number, technical issues, or simply wanting to use a different authentication type. Binance.US requires all users to implement at least one method of two-factor authentication for their accounts. Learn more in our Two-Factor Authentication FAQs.
Reset your two-factor authentication here
Note: Once you reset your two-factor authentication, there will be a 48-hour withdrawal hold on your account for security reasons, during which you will be unable to withdraw assets.
While Google Authenticator is the only authentication app listed in the Binance.US interface, most other two-factor authentication apps that provide 6-digit codes are compatible. In that case, you should still select Google Authenticator. View our Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) FAQs, including alternative two-factor authentication app suggestions, here. |
