Binance.US will support the upcoming BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) scheduled wallet maintenance and subsequent “Moran” network upgrade and hard fork.
BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) scheduled wallet maintenance
- Deposits and withdrawals for BSC (BEP20) tokens will be temporarily suspended on October 11, 2022 at 8:45 p.m. PDT / 11:45 p.m. EDT.
- The scheduled wallet maintenance and deposit and withdrawal suspension will last for approximately 1 hour (estimate only).
- The trading of BSC (BEP20) tokens will not be affected.
BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) “Moran” network upgrade and hard fork
The BNB Smart Chain “Moran” network upgrade and hard fork is scheduled to take place at height 22,107,423, which is estimated to occur on October 12, 2022 at 1 a.m. PDT / 4 a.m. EDT.
- Deposits and withdrawals for BSC (BEP20) tokens will be temporarily suspended on October 12, 2022 at midnight PDT / 3 a.m. EDT.
- The trading of BSC (BEP20) tokens will not be affected.
- Binance.US will implement all applicable technical updates for customers who hold BSC (BEP20) tokens in their Binance.US account.
- The BSC (BEP20) hard fork will not result in new tokens being created.
- Deposits and withdrawals for BSC (BEP2) tokens will be reopened once Binance.US deems the upgraded networks to be stable. No further announcement will be issued.
