Welcome to Binance.US. This guide will help you create and verify your personal account so that you can begin buying, selling, and trading your favorite cryptocurrencies in no time.
In just a few minutes, you can sign up and complete Basic Verification to access some of our most popular features.
Once Basic Verification is complete, you also have the option to complete Advanced Verification with just a few extra steps to access all features that Binance.US has to offer.
Important: Before starting your verification, please ensure you reside in a supported state/region. You can check which states/regions are supported here.

Binance.US offers two primary verification levels:
Basic Verification: This level requires minimal personal information and provides access to limited platform features.
Advanced Verification: This level allows access to increased withdrawal limits, higher deposit amounts, and access to certain trading features by providing additional identity documents such as a photo ID and completing facial recognition.

1. Download and install the Binance.US app. Open the app and click No account yet? Sign up now. Input your email, create a complex password, and enter a Referral ID, if applicable.
Confirm that you are 18 years old and have read and agree to the Binance.US Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, then tap Register.
2. Binance.US will send you a verification email. Open the email you used to sign up for Binance.US and enter the verification code.
Note: Before you reach this page, you may be presented with a Google reCAPTCHA to solve.
3. To add an extra layer of security to your account, you will be asked to enable SMS Authentication by inputting your phone number and clicking Send Code. Your method of two-factor authentication can be changed at a later date, but SMS is required to complete the sign up process.
Note: In rare circumstances, depending on cellular carrier settings, you may need to exit the page and try again in a few hours.
4. Check your phone for the six-digit verification code. Select Enable Authentication after confirming that you have correctly entered the digits.

1. Tap the Verify now on the home screen.
If you don't see this button on the home page, click the profile icon in the top right corner of the home page, then select Identity Verification from your profile page.
2. Enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN). Your SSN is required by federal law, and all your personal data is securely stored. Review the information on-screen and tap Continue to proceed.
3. Enter your full legal name and other requested information into the fields. Once you have entered your information, tap Confirm Information.
Note: Where possible, the above information may be pre-filled, including your address details. If some or all of your information is pre-filled, carefully review the on-screen information and click the Edit button to revise the information.
The address entered must be your current residential address. We are unable to accept PO Box addresses.
To complete Basic Verification, acceptable documents include:
U.S. Passport
State-Issued Driver's License/Permit
Real ID-compliant State Identification Card
Federal/State-issued ID card
U.S. Visa with at least one year of validity
U.S. Passport Card
Employment Authorization Card
Permanent Resident Card

By completing our advanced verification process, you will gain access to OTC trading and increased ACH deposit and withdrawal limits.
1. From your home screen, tap the profile icon in the top right.
2. Scroll down and tap Identity Verification under Account, then tap Advanced Verification.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions. The following identity documents will be required:
ID document: Choose which type of identification you wish to upload. Supported ID types include a driver’s license (recommended), state ID, or passport.
Facial recognition: Complete face verification using your phone selfie camera.

1. To get started, enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN) on the Verify Identity screen and click Continue to proceed.

2. Fill in the form with your personal information before clicking Next.
3. Enter your residential address and click Confirm.

Verification Statuses
Successful: Depending on your state of residence, you will either have to carefully review an Account Agreement, or you will reach an Identity Verification Successful screen showing you all the features you have access to.
Typical timelines for verification are as follows:
Basic Verification: Often completed in real-time through secure automated checks.
Advanced Verification: May take longer as it involves manual review for additional documents.
If there are delays, it may be due to high submission volumes or issues with uploaded documents. For problems with document uploads, consider using a different browser or Incognito mode, or try switching to another device. If submitting through the app, ensure that entered information matches your ID to avoid errors.
Pending: Your documents have been received and are currently being reviewed. You will receive an email once your identity verification status has been updated.
If your verification is pending, double-check the accuracy of your uploaded documents and submissions. Errors or unclear documentation are common reasons for delays. Ensure all required steps are completed and retry if necessary.
Unsuccessful: Your identity verification may be unsuccessful due to several factors, including incomplete information or the need for additional information. You may be prompted to try again to recheck and resubmit your information. Please chat with an agent if you need assistance.
If your verification attempt is unsuccessful, consider the following steps to resolve the issue:
Confirm that the submitted details match precisely with your documents.
Retake photos of your ID to ensure they are clear and properly aligned.
