What is SKALE Network (SKL)?
The SKALE Network is a scaling solution for the Ethereum network that allows developers to migrate off of the main Ethereum chain and onto SKALE adjacent chains for improved efficiency.
SKALE defines itself as a “100% decentralized network that will bring the power of Ethereum to billions of users through a world of interconnected, limitless SKALE chains.” SKALE’s architecture supports a robust set of decentralized app (dApp) chains and simplifies the process to set up multi-chains that run smart contracts compatible with Ethereum in a cost-efficient way.
To leverage the SKALE chains, developers must pay using SKL, the native utility token of the SKALE Network. SKL functions as a multi-use token for validation, payment, staking, delegating or governing purposes.
