Welcome to Binance.US. This guide will help you create and verify your personal account so that you can begin buying, selling, and trading your favorite cryptocurrencies in no time.
In just a few minutes, you can sign up and complete Basic Verification to access some of our most popular features.
Once basic verification is complete, you also have the option to complete Advanced Verification with just a few extra steps to access all features that Binance.US has to offer.
Before starting, you may want to learn about the different features available at each verification level. You can also learn how to check your current verification level.

1. Create your account
To create your account on the app
1a. Download and install the Binance.US app. Then tap No account yet? Sign up now.
1b. Enter your email address and password. Carefully review the Binance.US Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and check the box to agree before tapping Register.
1c. You’ll receive an email requesting your confirmation with a verification code. Copy the verification code from the email. Then, enter or paste it into your Binance.US app screen to confirm your registration.
Note: Before you reach this page, you may be presented with a reCAPTCHA to solve.
1d. To secure your account, you'll be asked to enable SMS Authentication. Your two-factor authentication method can be changed later, but we do require SMS verification during sign-up. Enter your phone number and tap Send SMS. Then, enter the six-digit SMS authentication code that was sent to your phone. Tap Next to confirm.
Note: In rare circumstances, depending on cellular carrier settings, you may need to exit the page and try again in a few hours.
Your account has been created and secured. You're almost ready to trade cryptocurrencies — next you need to pass basic verification.
2. Complete Basic Verification
2a. Tap the Verify now on the home screen.
2b. Carefully review the following screen and tap Continue to proceed.
2c. Enter your full legal name into the fields. Once you have entered your information, tap Continue.
2d. Enter your residential address into the fields. The address entered must be your current residential address. We are unable to accept PO Box addresses.
2e. Enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN). Your SSN is required by federal law, and all your personal data is securely stored. Review the information on-screen and tap Continue to proceed.
2f. Tap Finish to complete the verification process.
Your identity verification information status may be:
- Successful: Depending on your state of residence, you will either have to carefully review an Account Agreement, or you will reach an Identity Verification Successful screen showing you all the features you have access to.
- Pending: Your documents have been received and are currently being reviewed. You will receive an email once your identity verification status has been updated.
- Unsuccessful: Your identity verification may be pending due to several factors, including incomplete information or the need for additional information. You may be prompted to try again to recheck and resubmit your information. Please chat with an agent if you need assistance.
3. Upgrade to Advanced Verification (temporarily paused until USD deposits and withdrawals resume)
By completing our advanced verification process, you will gain access to wire deposits and withdrawals, OTC trading, and increased limits.
3a. From your home screen, tap the profile icon in the top right.
3b. Scroll down and tap Identity Verification under Account, then tap Advanced Verification.
3c. Follow the on-screen instructions. The following identity documents will be required:
- ID document: Choose which type of identification you wish to upload. Supported ID types include a driver’s license (recommended), state ID, or passport.
- Facial recognition: Complete face verification using your phone selfie camera.

To create your account on the web:
1a. To begin creating your Binance.US account, click here.
1b. Enter your email address and set a password. Next, check the box to confirm your age and agreement to Binance.US policies. Then, click the Create Account button.
1c. You’ll receive an email requesting your confirmation to complete the registration process with a verification code. Open the email and copy the verification code. Then, paste it into the field.
1d. You will be prompted to secure your account. After clicking Secure Account, you will be asked to enable SMS Authentication. Enter your cell phone number and click Send Code. Your two-factor authentication method can be changed later, but we do require SMS verification during sign-up.
1e. Enter the six-digit SMS Verification Code that was sent to your phone, then click Enable Authentication.

2. Complete Basic Verification
2a. If you are continuing straight from the account creation stage, you can skip to step 3 below. Otherwise, visit your Profile & Limits (follow this link or hover over your email address in the top right to open the drop-down menu, then click Profile & Limits).
2b. From Profile & Limits, click Verify Identity.
2c. Carefully review the following screen and click Continue to proceed.
2d. Enter your full legal name into the fields. Once you have entered your information, click Continue.
2e. Enter your residential address into the fields. The address entered must be your current residential address. We are unable to accept PO Box addresses.
2f. Enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN). Your SSN is required by federal law, and all your personal data is securely stored. Review the information on-screen and click Continue to proceed.
2g. Tap Finish to complete the verification process.
Your identity verification information status may be:
- Successful: Depending on your state of residence, you will either have to carefully review an Account Agreement, or you will reach an Identity Verification Successful screen showing you all the features you have access to.
- Pending: Your documents have been received and are currently being reviewed. You will receive an email once your identity verification status has been updated.
- Unsuccessful: Your identity verification may be pending due to several factors, including incomplete information or the need for additional information. You may be prompted to try again to recheck and resubmit your information. Please chat with an agent if you need assistance.
3. Upgrade to Advanced Verification (temporarily paused until USD deposits and withdrawals resume)
By completing our advanced verification process, you will gain access to wire deposits and withdrawals, OTC trading, and increased limits.
To complete advanced verification on the web:
3a. Log in to your account and visit the Profile & Limits page in your settings. Then, click Advanced Verification.
3b. Follow the on-screen instructions. The following identity documents will be required:
