What is Fantom (FTM)?
The Fantom Network is an EVM-compatible, high-throughput open-source smart contract platform for digital assets and dApps that is built for speed.
Fantom seeks to solve scaling and settlement finality delay that occurs on other blockchains and provide instant transactions and near-zero transaction costs on the Fantom Opera Chain.
FTM token is the Fantom Network token and is used to secure the network through a proof-of-stake system. It is used to pay network fees and used for on-chain governance.
