Due to regulatory developments in Connecticut, Binance.US will soon suspend operations for Connecticut customers. Trading services, including buying, selling, converting, and trading crypto, will remain available through August 22, 2025.
All final transactions, including crypto and USD withdrawals, should be completed before August 22,2025. After this date, any remaining balance left in your account may require Binance.US to begin the escheatment process and turn over those funds to the Connecticut Office of the Treasurer's Unclaimed Property Program.

What this means for you
We are asking all Connecticut customers to ensure that their Binance.US balances are at zero by August 22, 2025.
To ensure timely withdrawals, we are asking all Connecticut customers to unstake their crypto as soon as possible.
Please complete the following before July 23, 2025.
Review your staking balance(s) and unstake all crypto. Please request to unstake, then withdraw your crypto from Binance.US once the unstaking process is complete. We will initiate the unstaking process on your behalf for any cryptocurrencies that remain staked after July 23, 2025.
Please complete the following before August 22, 2025.
If you have USD in your account balance. To help you withdraw your remaining balance, we have enabled USD withdrawals for your account. If you have crypto that you wish to exchange for USD, consider using Convert.
If you have crypto in your account balance. Please withdraw crypto from your account. If you have multiple cryptocurrencies, consider using Convert Small Balances to consolidate smaller crypto balances under $20 to USDT, BTC, ETH, or BNB, then make an on-chain withdrawal to a trusted wallet you control in a single, easy transaction.
If you have pending transactions. Please review and close or complete any open orders. All open or pending orders will be canceled prior to the suspension of trading after August 22, 2025.
Frequently asked questions
What if I’m no longer a current Connecticut resident? If your current residential address is located in a supported state, you may continue using Binance.US by updating your personal information to a supported residential address. Please do so before August 22, 2025 to avoid any service disruptions.
What happens if I don’t withdraw all funds? As part of the escheatment process, Binance.US is required to convert crypto balance(s) to U.S. dollars (USD), which may create taxable event(s). To avoid the risk of escheatment, we strongly encourage you to withdraw all funds from Binance.US. If your funds are escheated, you will be required to submit a claim to the State to recover it.
Can I still deposit crypto? Your account can no longer receive deposits and crypto deposit addresses are no longer viewable. Please review your saved deposit addresses and remove those associated with your Binance.US account, including any Binance.US crypto domains. Be advised that crypto deposits received may incur fees or may result in losses if you deposit crypto to an old address.
